For pure adventure and escapism, my all time favorite is DESPERATE JOURNEY, starring Errol Flynn and Ronald Reagan. It's non-stop action. I'm certain Speilberg and Lucas saw this movie years ago and it inspired the Indiana Jones Trilogy. Albeit, this movie is pure propaganda, but, whoa! what a ride!
