Have you tried changing her diet? If she's eating a grocery-store kind of catfood that can be the cause of the dandruff. Put her on a higher quality food like Wysong or even Natural Balance from Petco (if she's not already on one). Science Diet and Iams do not count as high quality foods!

Animal dandruff is caused usually by a fatty acid deficiency.
open a 400 Mi of fish oil and a 400 Mi of flax see oil and apply to its food daily for three days then every other day there after .this also produces a shiny luxurious coat.
1/4 T spoon of bacon grease works also on daily basis.
But remember adding too much fat all at once can produce loose stools ,if so reduce the dosage.

My rottie had extremely flaky skin, my vet suggested squeezing fish oil capsules over his food. I noticed a huge difference in just a couple of days. I don't see why you would not be able to use this on cats as long as you decrease the amount to avoid loose stools.

i don't know about a cat but my vet gave me, Humilac for my dogs dry skin. and i just looked and it's for cats too. you spray it on or dilute it 5 capfuls to one quart of water and pour it on them. i think it was $12.00. it has helped my dog a lot. i spray it cause you have to be careful not to get it in the eyes or ears when pouring. it smells good too!!
