Some say because Kevin was threatening to take her to court for a drug test, so she got rid of her hair.
Also, she's probably sick of being pretty and having people expect her to be perfect. She's saying I'm not perfect. I don't want to be perfect. You can't make me conform to what you think I should be.

I think she was going through withdrawal and it felt like bugs crawling all over, so she thought she had (or maybe she did have) lice and shaved it. the extensions would have been nearly impossible to deal with if they had lice in them...

REAL ANSWER----at the salon the hair stylist said her hair was falling out and she had bald spots so she grabbed hair clippers and cut it off herself.
