It doesn't matter how the world ends, or why. Nor does it matter how you find out, or who else knows.

What do you do that last week of existence?

As for myself.. well, I'd probably buy a new pair of socks or something, since that is pretty much my favorite thing.

I'd like to think that I would go on living as I do today since I'm happy with my life as it is.

But... It's likely that I'm not the only one that has found out that the end of the world is near and people around me will react and start to do things that they haven't done before. I'm thinking that Christians will be preaching about God's kingdom and try to turn me into a Christian. Then I'd had to change my ways and deal with them.
Those that like to party will probably drink for a week leaving a trail of accidents behind them. That might have an impact on how I live too.
People will feel that there is no need to work and many things that we all take for granted will fail to function. As examples, electricity, water and the ability to go to the store late at night and buy something I need.
There would be a higher rate of accidents, suicidal people and people that help to get through the crisis that it would be to them. That means that there will be more pressure on the health care system that I'm dependent on and getting even the most basic help might become hard if not impossible.

Bottom line, I want to live my life as I always do, but the fact is that I'd be spending the last week adapting to how other persons decide react.

nothing would matter except whether there's an afterlife. if you think there isn't, then just have fun talking about life, enjoying the physical sensations of existence (sun, laughter, food, sex)

if you think there is (maybe even if you don't), do everything you can to make sure you end up in the good place.

Try to get on a flight to the moon for me and my loved ones! I would also make sure we all had brand new socks and underwear!

I can't see any significance in doing anything in that last week if everything is going to end anyway thereafter.... I may just pray to obtain and retain peace of mind.

Very interesting question - and your own answer made me laugh out loud.

I would spend time with my family.

Then I'd probably seek solitude in the nearest forest.

Spend time with the ones I love. Repent for my sins.
