i quess i should have been a little clearer in my orig question. wasnt about porn!!! in general people advertise FREE but in fact they want your money. How can this then be FREE and is this not false advertising???? Confused, or just nieve

SCAM, never give your ID data unless you are purchasing and know the site.

Check your credit card NOW for purchases you did not make!

You should go to annualcredit report.com. Its a government sponsored site where once a yer you can download credit reports for free. You can also get a free credit report from the credit bureaus if you've been turned down for credit within the last 60 days.

The other sites provide a credit monitoring service and they will start charging you a monthly fee after a trial period. Thats why they ask for credit card info upfront.
