OK, I was cracking up when i heard the Bears traded Thomas Jones. First of all Thomas Jones was the Offensive Productor. Rex Grossman and Cedric Benson are the new offensive ''wonders''(unless they get a quality QB or RB in the Draft). Who else thinks this trade was the dumbest thing since Lovie Smith wanted Brian Urlacher to be a KR in the Superbowl. But seriously was the trade worth it.

Alright. They traded Thomas Jones for a pick 26 spots higher than their original 2nd round pick. In the first round they'll probably go with a LB like Pozlunksy from Penn St. for some added security in the Lance Briggs debacle. Hopefully they realize that he is a huge asset to the team and give the man what he deserves. On there next pick, which will be 37th overall, they might choose the likes of a Michael Bush from Louisville or Antonio Pittman from THE Ohio State University to get some added depth to the running game. It will be young help, but some help nonetheless. As for the QB situation, as a bears fan I hope they do what's best for the organization and tar and feather rex grossman. Not only did the rest of the team lead HIM to the super bowl, he played a key role in there loss. I think of all the coaches they lost Ron Turner should have gone and Ron Rivera should have stayed. It's tough to say if Wade Wilson's departure at QB coach will have an impact simply because grossman was too incosistent to judge Wilson's performance. All in all I think they'll be okay if they can secure the most important position in professional football...The QuarterBack. Until then it's hard to consider them as a likely contender for a Super Bowl XLII championship.

I think it was really dumb that they traded Thomas Jones...they should've traded Briggs...he didn't want to be there anyway...but i guess jones didn't either...and don't forget about Adrian Peterson (the one the bears have as their third string or second now) and i don't think anything could beat lovie wanting Brian Urlacher to be a KR i mean they have Hester why not use him???? LOL i am a huge Bears fan

Thomas jones WANTED out. The mistake they made was in drafting Cedric Benson. Should have got Derrick Johnson (the LB the Chiefs drafted that year). At this point, they have alot invested in Benson... Who could turn out to be a superstar (if he stays healthy).
