I fell down 3 days ago and the next day I was sore in my side and back area. I have been going to work and I have a lot of lifting that I do. 15-65lb. most of the day. It has been 3 days now and the pain is so severe I can hardly walk. Could I have broken a rib?

Sure you could. Unfortunately, they can't really do anything about it, except possibly wrap you up, give you something for pain and restrict your work for awhile. A broken rib can take a couple of months to heal.

possibly broken rib which is characterized by pain on breathing in and pain on coughing. Could also be back injury to the spine certainly needs x-ray asap

yes, or some other fun things like bruised/strained muscles. Does it hurt everytime you breath? if so probabley more of a broken rib, if not you might have injured a muscle or group of muscles. Either way relax, soak in a nice hot bath.

you need to have an x-ray, you do not want to cause internal damage, you also do not want this to get worse, if you are having trouble taking deep breaths you can develp pneumonia and that is horrible with a broken rib

you could have bruised a muscle or your kidney, if the pain does not subside with otc pain meds and rest you should go see your dr, you definetly should not be lifting until you are sure
