Sure you could. Unfortunately, they can't really do anything about it, except possibly wrap you up, give you something for pain and restrict your work for awhile. A broken rib can take a couple of months to heal.

possibly broken rib which is characterized by pain on breathing in and pain on coughing. Could also be back injury to the spine certainly needs x-ray asap

Broken ribs are a ***** ive had em i coulnt breathe when i broke mine could walk just fine sound to me like you might have hurt something else back, tailbone you definatly need to go to a cyropractor they will take x-ray and fix you right up

yes, or some other fun things like bruised/strained muscles. Does it hurt everytime you breath? if so probabley more of a broken rib, if not you might have injured a muscle or group of muscles. Either way relax, soak in a nice hot bath.

you need to have an x-ray, you do not want to cause internal damage, you also do not want this to get worse, if you are having trouble taking deep breaths you can develp pneumonia and that is horrible with a broken rib

oh, if youve got a busted rib, YOULL KNOW... it will be very very intense pain when you move or when you breath... do you wear a lifting belt at work? you should.. if pains gets too much, see a doc

you could have bruised a muscle or your kidney, if the pain does not subside with otc pain meds and rest you should go see your dr, you definetly should not be lifting until you are sure
