I think it's still close to call. Personally, I'm pulling for Minnesota, but realistically, I think Vancouver will pull it off. Even though the teams are more spread out at this point in the season, I still believe that the Northwest is the best division in the NHL, if not the most competitive.

Vancouver.

They are playing as well as any team out there...well, probably with the exception of Nashville. Luongo has been on fire and the Sedin twins have been providing the necessary offense necessary. Heck, you know things are going well when even Kevin Bieksa is contributing! Minnesota is really close though, with a hot Marion Gaborik chasing them and Jarome Iginla and the Flames not too far after that. Colorado is fighting for their lives and Edmonton couldn't get a win if their life depended on it right now. So yea, looks like Vancouver is gonna walk away with the division, but its gonna be tight!

Calgary, they got big players in Miikka Kiprusoff, Dion Phaneuf, Kristian Huselius, Daymond Langkow, Jarome Iginla, Alex Tanguay, Matthew Lombardi, and even the old, big name veterans are stepping up like Tony Amonte and Roman Hamrilik. They got good defense, great offense, and good goaltending. Don't get me wrong, Vancouver is very good with players like Roberto Luongo, Daniel and Henrik Sedin, Brendan Morrison, Markus Naslund, Kevin Bieska, Sami Salo, Mattias Ohlund, and many more. The problem could be that Calgary has a better goalie overall, just not from statistics. I could also see Edmonton with Ales Hemsky, Shawn Horcoff, Dwayne Roloson, Raffi Torres, and many more. But.. I see Calgary beating out Vancouver by 1,2 or 3 points at max.

Vancouver Canucks

Based on how they have been playing since Christmas, the Canucks should win the division if they can avoid major injuries.

I'll go with the Canucks here, Robert Luongo is a difference maker on that team.

Probably Vancouver, they are a completely different team since December, if they can keep winning, no one will catch them within their division.
