I have the same low opinion of Gingrich as I have of Giuliani. They both committed adultery. Although Gingrich has said he doesn't remember it, his first wife says Gingrich discussed divorce terms with her while she was recuperating in the hospital from cancer surgery. And Guiliani had to be barred by the court from bringing his mistress into Gracie Mansion while his wife and children were still there. They are both hypocrites.

Gingrich is an extremely intelligent man and could have gone on to do great things in Washington. But like many, he cannot look at his own actions objectively. It's too bad. His own weaknesses have been his undoing.

The Religious Right will of course give pass on Newt and his affair and find way to blame it liberal press and the Clinton's. To bad he did not have an affair with the darling of the far right Ann Coulter.

People fell for Bill Clinton's, Jimmy Carter's, Al Gore's, John Edward's, Barrach Obama's and Hillary Clinton's bullcrap, so why not? Actually, Gingrich is brilliant unlike the people that have been mentioned previously in this answer.

The "eye of Newt"- is jaundiced. And that makes him as big a hypocrite as any politician in Washington. Trust him not. -He just wants to get back into Office again... -bad old habits die hard... :)

If it worked for Ted Kennedy and Bill Clinton why shouldn't it work for Newt Gingrich?

A hypocrite by any other name is still what it is... no matter how we "Justify" it to make ourselves feel better or delude ourselves into believing ourselves to be a Noble Spirit.

I think it's laughable. Perhaps Lewinski blew him, too. What a hypocrite.

Looks like his distraction technique isn't distracting nobody from what he really did...

His past will catchup to him soon
