Yup! I played drums first then alto horn then french horn and flute. I also sang alto in the choir and played piano accompaniment. It was a lot of fun! And no band is not for geeks! Those that think it was were those who were too worried about what others thought about them. The worst part is they might be surprised how little anyone thought about them at all or cared what they did! LOL

that's funny. I did too! (play flute)
and currently, since I'm in high school, still do.
Of course I don't like band, but since my parents(without my knowledge) bought me a flute I had to play. So it's a bummer, but I can live with it.

No. I was in the choir. I was one of the best in my section and usually got picked to be in the elite choir groups too....the ones you have to audition for. I loved choir but I dropped out of band before I even got a chance to get into it.....I was being forced to play the clarinet and I didn't want to...I wanted to play the drums and the director said I couldn't because I was to small.....so that dashed my dreams.

I wasn't in any extra curricular activities. I was a pothead. My husband, on the other hand, played drums in his high school band.

Yes. I was in everything musical. I played oboe in the band, and piano for the choir.

No but I dated two girls that did,one played the tromboner,and another girl played the skin flute.They were both very talented!

Yea i was in ,"A'' highschool band that got famous enough we went on tour but we had to break up for college.
