Enlightment

2007-03-08 17:10:00 · answer #1 · answered by mothsandbutterflies 1 · 1 1

Aside from rhetorical questions which are used to make a point, all other questions are an attempt to attain knowledge. We seek knowledge to find understanding. We seek understanding so that we can control the world around us, which would be impossible without knowledge and understanding. For this reason one can say that "knowledge is power." And everyone seeks power. If their is no questioning there is no knowledge and subsequently no power. Hence, those in power do not want to be questioned, and those who question are seeking power.

For myself, I would say knowledge, not necessarily understanding because if you had true understanding there would be no need for questions. I am curious, I have this need for information. All forms. I like to know what is going on in the world, I want to know why people do the things they do. What got them to that point. Curiosity of life.

The base, or basis, of all my questions was not philosophical. I wanted to know certain things from certain groups of people. The idea was to find intelligence, if there was any, by the way others responded to my questions.

The answer depends upon how far along one is in gaining the answers.

The greatest answer is only in the indivisible source of all knowledge.

Lesser than that is love, Progenesis.

Lesser than that is reason, rational unity.

Lesser than that is irrational unity.

Lesser than that is logic, rational disunity.

Lesser than that is illogic, irrational disunity.

Lesser than that is knowledge of ignorance, conscientious development begins.

Lesser than that is ignorance of knowledge, unconscious development.

Lesser than that is material sense.

Lesser than that is growth.

Lesser than that is cohesion.

Lesser than that is chaos.

Lesser than that is void.

The fullness of it is where the all-inclusive is undivided through to the utterly void, and nothingness, and is only One.

I think they are very different. Most of people's leaded by interest to know, to compare their ideas with another ones. I like those persons. They are sincerely interested to relate to they don't care who. But there is also who ask only to confirm his unshakable certainty. With that people you could try to start to relate, but nothing..... Luckily we can choose, so finding friends that enrich our lives.
