You don't have to choose.

You can believe in evolution and still believe in the existence of a creator who created us and watches over us today. Evolution may have been a tool in the process.

All you need reject is an Anglican Bishop who, 500 years ago, gave his opinion that the Bible says the world is 6000 years old, and everything on it (like dinosaurs and man) was created at the same time. Even scientists who question Darwinian evolution don't think that.

Here's a website from a scientist who is a Christian, and believes we were created by a process starting 13 billion years ago with a big bang. Nothing in science contradicts him.

1. Creationism: Can not be proved, But show me some evidence that disproves the creation of the earth.

2. Evolution: Listed below are a few reasons why evolution/big bang theory is not possible:

(a) The law of conservation of angular momentum prevents the big bang theory from being true, according to the big bang theory all materials started to spin before exploding and creating the universe. According to this law every planet and galaxy should spin in the same original direction as the material spinned right before the big bang, however there are a few planets and even galaxies that spins in the opposite direction than the majority of planets and galaxies.

(b) The rotation of the earth is slowing down every year. Can you imagine at what speeds it would have been spinning say about 10 million years ago. Now taking into account the corriolus effect, do you think it possible that any living creature would have survived.

(c) Have you ever heard of Neanderfall man? Hes ape like skull was the original "evidence" to prove evolution. Did you know that during the 1950's & 1960's this skull and a few other were proven to be a fake, where the jaw of a human was filed down to fit on the skull of an ape. They dont tell you that part in science class do they.

You can read more about this on www.drdino.com They provide more details and can name countless more reasons why evolution can not be possible.

P.S. Darwin's book on evolution belongs in the fiction section of the library.

As a Science, Evolution is highly improbable if only given 6000 years in which to operate. However, it is infinitely more probable than Creationism, because Evolution is based on the interpretation of facts while Creationism is based on the Old Testament of the Bible and ignores facts completely. With 4 billion years to operate Evolution is doable while Creationism has to search for reasons why dinosaurs aren't mentioned in the Bible.

There is some extremely small percentage of a chance that evolution happened (if you're talking about evolution in the sense of the "big bang" and all that).

However, Creationism cannot be proved nor disproved.

I would still say evolution is more improbable.

Evolution has the highest rate of improbability. While people point to fossil records, are their conclusions correct? For the beginning of life, every theory has some hole in it. Those who believe in evolution always speak in terms of doubt with "we believe", "it could have" and other such terms that do speak of uncertainty. Creationism on the other hand gives the authoritative voice from God stating that He spoke, and it came to be. You decide, the arguments of man groping to find out, and are continually changing their minds, and theories, or the voice of authority. There are laws that man has concocted that state that out of chaos, order can not come, yet evolution, and other theories for the beginning of life say just that, out of chaos came order. I do find that a bit hard to accept.

Not that this answers you question in it's entirety but it may bring about more thought than just calling one or the other ridiculous. Science has repeatedly stated that organisms of the Plant Kingdom have no central nervous system, feelings, thoughts, nothing. I am definitely not a environmentalist but the design behind a single grass seed that can sense when it is time to germinate and start to grow is simply amazing. A seed that has no ability to think or feel is somehow designed so the roots grow down in search of water and the blade of grass grows up in search of sunlight and carbon dioxide. Is it merely by chance that these simple organisms have come to "know" this by a process of evolution? Or is it far more probable that they were designed that way by a higher power, God? To me, it seems so obvious that this is the act of a thoughtful and omnipotent Creator.
As time passes, we all can agree that the answers do not fully lie with the scientists and the inconsistencies that occur in the science community. Evolution exists on a very small scale and cannot be responsible for the whole of creation.

Evolution is supported by an extensive physical record of fossils and geology. It makes predictions and it testable. It is supported at all levels, from whole organisms down to biochemistry and molecular genetics.

Creationism is based in belief in a text unsupported by evidence other than faith in the nature of the text.

One is welcome to believe in creationism, but please don't call it science. From a scientific point of view, evolution is most likely. From a fundamentalist Christian point of view, creationism is. You make the choice.

If this is for school, best ask yourself if it is for a Biology class or a religious philosophy class!

You cannot apply probability after the fact. Feynman used to point this out in a lecture along these lines:
" The most remarkable thing happened to me in the parking lot on the way in. I saw a license plate that read KVT 733 !! Now what, I ask you, are the odds against THAT happening?"

Evolution has been shown to have happened. Creationism has been shown to have been believed. No probability involved in either case.

i decide for Evolution. Creationism is bull. in case you dont think of so, clarify why you chosen creationism. you may continually say 'Evolution guided by technique of God'. there is not any reason you would be unable to have the two God and Evolution. you will see evolution shining by way of in components sequestered from something of humanity, like Darwin grew to become into able to coach. you additionally can seem in the direction of Africa and see a genetic illness called sickle cellular illness. those with this illness are proof against malaria, this is endemic in Africa. no longer all genetic defects we call evolution are a competent difficulty, nature is done of trial and blunder. in the African occasion, Malaria grew to become this sort of concern that there grew to become into in some unspecified time sooner or later a mutation in the human genes which grew to become into surpassed on by way of kin. the those with sickle cellular lived longer than those stricken with Malaria; for this reason, the gene passes. that is in basic terms that there are a lot of little examples like that. looking exterior the human species to micro organism like Staphylococcus aureus we can see a splash evolution. in the scientific institution placing you'll be able to desire to look out for issues like MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) this is a mutated stress of the unique species. by way of the years medical doctors, nurses, and sufferers created this mutated stress by technique of being careless with antibiotics. Now, because of the fact of evolution, we've those superbugs that are lots harder to kill.

Creationism. The fact that there's a possibility of evolution occuring through 100% natural means automatically makes it more likely than "magic"
