It most certainly is. The only DVD I own, as a matter of fact. But I don't agree with your interpretation, dude. The movie is a masterful meandering on language and Falstaffian-ism.
Your aggression -- in labeling it so narrowly -- will not stand, man.

the movie, in a silly way, kind of looks at political ideologies... with walter being conservative and the dude being liberal... and how they work together and get along and live... and how both are needed...
