Bhagvat Gita explains the existence itself and how to actually know it. The means, as explained in Gita, are many as there are different personalities but goal is one, i.e., to enjoy the dance and rhythm of Existence. Act as you feel right but do not have any attachment. Do not brood over yesterday nor do expect anything from tomorrow. Dissolve your ego in the arms of Krishna, Paramatma or Existence. In fact Gita is the song sung by 'Paramatma manifested through Krishna'. Gita says not to have attachment even to our own physical body and it is irony that in India we are fighting over castes when we should not have any attachment to it!

First you know, the correct word, expression and knowledge of what you are reading, make effort to be a student. The regular habit of schooling, studies and your discipline including the cause of your birth and respect to elders will answer the basis of Bhagavat Geetha. Then only you can explain whehter Egg or Chicken. Because you are Egg and your Mother is Chicken. Is is not? There is the basis of Geeta

The concept that all the great religions proceed from the same Source merits serious contemplation. The Bahá'í Writings point out that certain important teachings are found in all religions. For example, the injunction to love one's fellow men echoes throughout all the Holy Writings. The Old Testament enjoins: "thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" (Lev. 19:18). The Bhagavad-Gita (12:13) instructs: "A man should not hate any living creature. Let him be friendly and compassionate to all."These words sound not so different from "love your enemies, bless them that curse you"as uttered by Jesus (Matthew 5:44). Compassion, loving-kindness, sympathetic joy, and equanimity are said by Buddhist scriptures to be divine conditions of the mind. "Do you love your creator? Love your fellow-beings first,"reads a well-known Islamic tradition. And Bahá'u'lláh, the Prophet-Founder of the Bahá'í Faith writes: "ye were created to show love to one another and not perversity and rancour. Take pride not in love for yourselves but in love for all mankind" (Tablets of Bahá'u'lláh, 136). So prominent is the teaching of universal love among all religions that it could be viewed as a goal common to them all. That the basic human virtues -- kindness, generosity, humility, trustworthiness -- are taught by all religions would also suggest a common origin.

Please explain. I am curious. all that I have learned from Bhagwat gita is: Surrender you ego. Krishna says , I am the doer, not you. Every action, reaction, good or bad is God's doing. Arjuna says, I can't fight in the war, I won't. and Krishna asks, who are you to decide? I am the doer, not you. Just do , what I have decided for you to do. that is total surrender.
Like in the Bible Jesus says stretching out his hands to his sheep (people), 'come ye all and I will give you peace.'

You said you can explain. Even then you ask to test others.
Why on basis of Geeta and not yourself?
I ask you to explain whether man or woman or he/child or she/child or any gender of gorilla or monkey first come.
