hip hop isnt dead officially wat they are trying to say is hip hop has changed so much in the past 15 years that its starting to get weaker and weaker
back then Nas and Jay (and any other rapper) used to rap about life and tell storys which made up a song...now rappers seem to only talk about money, gurls, cars, jewlery, or dope... as u see it has changed and in a way Hip Hop really is dead.....

ps. Lil Wayne steals lines from Jay and Nas so he cant be the best

No, I don't think hip-hop is dead.....I think it has actually expanded. Depending on where you are from, there are different sounds. Hip-hop is expressed differently in all parts of US and around the world. I think that is a great thing and that has a lot to do with the evolution of hip-hop and why it has taken the world by storm. It is a culture heavily respected by people of all races.

no i think that it has morphed into something of our time and there not willing to except change no one thing is going to stay the same forever things change with the times. rappers or musicians for that matter are inspired by different things and so they make music from it and some of the things that are out now weren't out then music just took a turn thats all they just need to accept the times thats all
