The X appears in a little box. When i click on show picture, it still doesn't. How do you get it to show the picture?

You have your security set high enough that it strips the pictures and only leaves the mark to show there WAS a picture there, try setting your security to medium and in Outlook set it to let pictures through from certain addresses that you would list.

When the link is broken it appears. Try right clicking the X and click show picture. the request is sent again , and the picture might show up.

If this is in outlook, there shoudl be a gray bar in the same window. Click on the bar and say "Show Pictures".
If it is in IE, right click on the pic and say show picture. Hope I helped.

The x appears because an add- on for ie is not installed on your browser. Enable everthing or download the program.

delete the picture, then upload it again. i had to do that to most of mine.
