Now this won't only delete or clear websites visited by your kids earlier, but will also delete all other unnecessary files in your computer, including temporary files, cookies, previous OS back up files, etc. etc... what you need to do is:

1.) Click START
2.) Go to ALL PROGRAMS
3.) Go to ACCESORIES
4.) Go to SYSTEM TOOLS
5.) Then click on DISK CLEAN UP

A window will appear requiring you to choose the Drive you wanna clean up... Then when you click OK, a list of of files will appear each with their corresponding size... Don't worry, all the files appearing here are useless... Click on each boxes to mark it with a check, especially those with large sizes... Then click OK to clean up your PC...

This will delete all unnecessary files in your PC and make your PC run a little faster...

Go with Kacky's advice, and also install some good (non-Norton) antivirus/antispyware/etc. software. Also create a restricted user account for your kids so they can't install everything they come across. Put a password on your Owner or Administrator account the kids won't guess, and never leave the computer with it logged on. Turn off fast user switching to help with that.

From Internet Explorer---Tools---Internet Options---Temporary Internet Files, Delete Files---then Clear History. Hope thsi helps.

You may also want to delete your temp directory: Start--Run---type: %temp%, hit enter. In the folder that comes up, select all files and hit delete. Some may not delete because the computer is using them, but most should be deleted. Sort by date. Anything before today, delete.

If you have ie 6, go to Tools\Internet Options then find Browsing History. There should be a button to clear it. In ie 7, same thing but the tool sign is a blue wheel in the upper-right.

Clearing the sites visited won't speed it up. You can speed it up by downloading a freebee like Spybot and running it once a week. Kids pick up a lot of spyware and adware due to the commercial nature of many of the sites they visit!

You have two options: 1) go into tools then internet options then click clear history. 2)if you want to delete a specific website or you want to keep a few, go into history and right click on the website you want to delete and press delete.

install cleanup. Go to yahoo.com and search cleaunup and download the software, should speed up your internet. You might want to run some antivirus software as well. Spam, and viruses slow down the computer.
