I like all the names that you have chosen, but I have to say that I agree with you -- Blake is an adorable name and my favorite too. Hailie is a beautiful name for a girl too -- I must say, I like your choices!! :D Good luck and congratulations!!!

Hi, firstly congratulations on begining your very own addition to "THE FAMILY TREE", I know you have already chosen Hailie for a girl, I just thought I'd tell you about our name choosing dilema, hubby and I could not agree on any names, we had the same problem with our first born, back then....13 years ago we both finally agreed on Courteny, 7 years later after much trying we fell pregnant again, this time we knew our baby was a girl (again), my husband is of Cree Indian heritage, after much reading of baby name books, we decided on Kree, having to change the spelling from Cree -to Kree as there is 7 years between them I didn't think it wise to have 2 Miss C Bond's in the one address, opening each others mail etc, I think even had our bundle of sleepless nights been a boy, Kree would have been a good choice, I wish you a happy, healthy bundle of joy. P.S, Some one told us that to choose a name the best way was to stand at the front door and scream the full name eg: Kree Ruth-Ann Bond or our eldest : Courteny Verena-Ann Bond at the top of your voice ...something you will repeatedly do over the years and which ever sounds the best pick that one.....good luck

To answer your question, pick a name that can't be shortend, what you name your child is what he or she should be called by one and all, I like Joel, Blake is a far to serious name for a baby, the names Joel and Ryan will suit a baby or a 40 year old.
