Your body can become VERY off balance after discontinuing birth control, and those symptoms are not unheard of with women who have discontinued their birth control, especially injections....The best way to be sure, of course is to take a test. Those results should not be affected by the discontinuation

It is not normal and since you have been taking hormones it is best for you to go for mammography wherein clear picture of you breast would be revealed. Do this immediately because delay would be dangerous to your health.
