I am a 42 year old woman and still get asked for my ID about once a month.
It is flattering, but I think maybe the cashier s are visually challenged! I don't look 42 but I also don't look 21...maybe about 35! Soooo how about ya all...

Only when the cashier is trying to be cute. I'm pretty good looking, but at 51, there's no mistaking that I don't need to be carded!

I'm a waitress and the company that I work for makes us attend alcohol training every three months so they can get some kind of discount on their insurance and have legal protection if the restaurant gets busted for serving someone underage. The rule of thumb is not to ID people that look under 21 but people that look under 30. Take is as a complement, someone is just doing their job.

Of course I do. I'm 29 but I still look young. Why last week, when I went to the grocery store two older people thought I was a teenager, all because I was wearing a cute hat. Well, maybe not ALL because. I was confused for a 17-year old. I love it!

Yes I still get asked , I ask for the senors discount and they say that I don't look like I'm a senor, one woman had the nerve to say that I did not look a day over 40, I just tell them that I'm getting my pension and that I have been collecting it for a few years now without telling them how old I really am, PS I,m over 60 and under 75

I'm 23 & get taken for a 15 yr old. One day, I was trying to buy a Rated R movie from WalMart, & she said I didn't look 22 @ the time, & she thought I was 15 or 16. People tell me I have a baby face.

yes I do and I'm 32....but in all fairness I do look younger.

True story...the weekend before Christmas this year my best friends band had a gig at a bar in my hometown and naturally I went to see him play.
I don't drink to much when I'm out and to the horror and embarrassment of my friends sometimes when I go to a bar, I order a "Shirley Temple" aka "Kiddie Cocktail" (shut up man, they're yummy!) So I get there and go up to the bar and that's exactly what I order. For those unfamiliar with the drink its nothing more than 7up with maraschino cherry juice.....completely non-alcoholic. The bartender carded me.
SHE CARDED ME FOR A SHIRLEY TEMPLE!!! I said to her "You are aware that this drink is non-alcoholic aren't you?"

I couldn't believe it and made sure I told everyone there about it in case someone knew this stupid bartender.
