Can you tell us a reason why the tuna workers in Nancy Pelosi's district don't deserve to make the same minimum wage as the rest of our nation. And if you can, could you also tell us why that same reason does not apply to the rest of the country?

they aren't in her district...first off... she's not a representiave of samoa
and I don't think Samoa, or whatever, has ever been subject to our minimum wage.... due to the differences of their economy...
I'll use the old, tired, cleche and ironic (when they use it ) Republican line of "why don't you take an ecomics class?"

Nancy Pelosi doesn't set the minimum wage for Tuna workers. Why would you ask a question that would hint that she has that responsibility???? A little less Rush Limbaugh might just do you some good.

Wow Pelosy is just a senator, she can't tell every other politician how to vote in her district...and once again, no connection to a site...she is wanting a minimum wage...at least say how much $ these workers make...or are you just about half truths?

1st they are not in Nancy Pelosi's district and they are part of 2 American territorys (1 is Samoa) that the Republican party exclude from minimum wage for 12 years! At least the Democrats added one of the 2!
And they are not states!

Remember Pelosi's speech about ethics, well she meant those rules apply to others but not to her and the left wing leaders of the party. How the democrats can say they are ethical when they reappoint Johnson to a vital committee and let Pelosi play president is beyond me. Using the media to keep attention off their failed programs by attacking our service members is normal for them. Guess it is part of the Clinton smoke screen lessons in preparation for 08.

in Nevada the minimum wage for waitresses and taxi drivers is 2.50 an hour compared to 5.15 for everything else. I disagree with that but the concept is good, some jobs just shouldn't pay as much as others. the minimum wage should vary by profession
