Consider the coefficients and each variable separately.
The coefficients: with 18 and 26, the best you do is pull a "2" out. 13 is prime, so that ends that.
For u, u^4 can be removed from the two expressions.
For w, w can be removed from the two expressions.
For z, since it appears in only one expression, there is no further factoring.
So the gcf is 2x u^4 x w
