Ok I know this is a really wierd phobia, but Ive got a servere phobia of used band-aids. I nearley gag when I see one, exspecially the older ones that are like moist, just thinking about them I freak out alot. Is there anyway I can calm down this phobia???

I dont' blame you for having a phobia. Most "used" bandaids have many germs on them and it is pretty gross because a lot of people don't dispose of them properly. I don't know how you avoid being grossed out by it.
as long as you don't have a phobia to NEW bandaids, I don't think you have much of an issue!

They are kind of gross and slimy. I don't blame u 4 having a phobia of used band aids. It kind of reminds me of used condoms or used needles people just throw around....... Ewwww, Gross, Disgusting!

next time you cut yourself and you are dripping blood - refuse to use a bandaid. Just think of your phobia - as the blood drips you'll say screw the phobia - you will realize the lack of a bandaid is more frustrating than the fear of seeing a messy used one

geez. There are infectious diseases, people dying from flesh eating diseases, cancer, heart disease. Wars. Murder, rape, stealing and you are afraid on something that is an inch long. I hope that put it in perspective

systematic desensitization-go ahead and lick it, then the fear will be gone.
