Is Al Gore a nut job or are we all going to die from global warming?

Al Gore is a bit of a nut job. We are not going to die from global warming. Perhaps some of our great grandchildren might be foolish enough to purchase oceanfront homes. I think that any deaths caused by "global warming" will be true examples of Darwin's theories in action.

What is happening now is what has ALWAYS happened at the end of an ice age. We are currently at the very end of an ice age. Of COURSE things will warm up and ice will melt. That's what has always happened before. I'm sure eventually we'll have another ice age too. That would scare me more than global warming. Luckily none of us will be around for either event.

Anyway, I don't have anything to worry about. I've purchased carbon credits.

Neither one! Al's not a nut job and global warming isn't likely to kill any of us because it takes time. HOWEVER, we're doing so many things that contribute to global warming we need to stop and take a long hard look at it. Too many cars, wasting too much gas, too much development too fast, wasting and polluting water and that WILL affect us because we're well on the way already. Asthma is most definitely on the rise and so are many other diseases so we need to wonder why and give it some thought. There are so many small things we can each do that will help, even if Al was a nut job don't you think it's a good idea to try and help avoid a possible disaster? I know I don't want to drink polluted water or have to find out where I can get safe water! Do you?

For those of you that are Christians - isn't that being a good steward of the gifts you've been given?

No we will not all die from global warming, Al Gore is on his soapbox getting the press he wants. It definitely is a big time issue, however according to the scriptures that is not how the earth winds up. We will see catastrophes mind you as the result of the warming but bigger issues will arise. No I am not a religious nut bar just one who takes the word of God to heart knowing it is truth and has never been wrong yet. Cheers mate!

He's a nut, he's crazy in the coconut. If he was so concerned about global warming, he would stop using his private jet and SUV's to get around. The globe has natural warming and cooling periods, it has been doing this for millions of years. There is nothing to do to prevent it or change it's natural cycle. Al Gore is a complete moron.

I feel really that it's airplane fuel that's causing global warming faster then anything else. I saw the pictures that the space shuttle took of the United States before the 911 and just after when Bush declared all planes grounded. Do you all remember that??? You could see the fuel / vapors in the sky just covering the U.S. and Canada. Then the sky was clear about 3 hours after 911 hit.

Gore's on the level, and eventually alot of people WILL die from the effects of global warming. For most of us, it won't happen overnight (unless you're living in the path of the next "Katrina" that comes along...), but it IS going to happen- unless we find some way to slow the damage we're doing to the Earth's Environment.

Global Warming is a natural occurance that occurs over long periods of time. The world's temperatures have actually been cooling in the last few years and the planet fluctuates between high temperatures and ice ages. Gore is simply a pathological liar who wants to make George Bush appear bad and get his face on television. How about Gore's 5 mansions in the U.S. that are sucking power like crazy and how about his limosenes and lear jets? He loves to lecture us, but like all liberal elitists he wants to promote b.s. and have it apply to the public, not himself.
