Do you think men are more likely to stay with a woman who gives them the freedom to pursue outside, "superficial" (purely sexual) relationships, or do you all secretly want to be told "no, you can't do that"?

I sincerely want to know...please give me your honest opinion!

Why on Gods green earth would a real man wish to show such disrespect to the woman that he is with? A man should not have to be told no,he should know better. It all boils down to how he was brought up,if he was taught respect, honesty, truth, integrate & morals that is what he will show to the lady. If not he will be a insensitive, asshole that does not deserve the lady that he is with.

No a real man a good man will respect you more if you make a stand and say no way do you want him to pursue else where. But you need to as a woman know that you are taking care of business for your man and not afraid to ask often how am i doing and hopefully he will in turn ask you how he is doing as your partner. There should be no need to have anything outside the relationship that is the whole point of finding that someone spacial.

Absolutely the craziest thing I ever heard of! If you would be willing to let a man pursue other women and at the same time stay in a committed relationship with you you would assume that means he is staying with you? You are describing a harem like the Arabs have - not a committed relationship! A committed relationship with someone means faithful to each other with no interaction with other women or men(husband and wife respectively). Otherwise it is a lust connection not a love connection. If this is a request of your partner he evidently believes you don't have a brain larger than a pea. Don't ever believe that you aren't worth a man's undivided attention and love if he intends to have a long term relationship or marriage. Anything less than that and you might as well think of yourself as nothing but a sex toy to take out of the closet whenever he can't find another woman to spend time with. You should have more self-respect than that.

No man have to be told No or Yes concerning cheating. A man that can't think for himself and use free will and either a good calibrated moral compass to make proper decisions, or use his degraded sense of moral obligations isn't worth a sheeeiiittt either way in my book.

A man like that couldn't find his a ss with a 10 man working party and isn't worth the paper his Birth Certificate is printed on.

A man should not need a "second Mother" either to tell him what is right or wrong. If he's that screwed up and worthless, he deserves to be a hood ornament on a Semi Truck.

We have many names for guys like that where I come from, and I wouldn't give him the time of day even if my watch was broke.

I stay with women based on loyalty and my own moral paradigms. I would NEVER cheat on a woman, and the day I do, I deserve to have my Tally-Whacker cut off with a dull spoon just like every cheating man should.

If a guy doesn't have his Ps and Qs in order and know what to do, he sure doesn't need to be told what to do........and, he shouldn't be married.

Guys like that make great fertlizer in desolate and forgotten industrial fields.

Do ya' get me.... sweetheart? (Jack Nicholson - "As Good As It Gets")

I think that anyone....man or woman.....who actually wants to go after sexual encounters outside the marriage doesn't need to be married. Even if it is okay with the spouse. Just not setting a good example. I have to wonder why the wife would let her husband do this as well. Sounds like a individual with some low self esteem or who is depressed (not always easy to tell).

A man who requires that kind of freedom is a pig. And a woman that would put up with it needs some self esteem.
It isn't a need to be told don't screw around. A decent man doesn't need guidance as he has values and morals. I'm not talking about religious values and morals, I'm talking about a man in touch with reality.
It's one thing to think about messing around, it's integrity that keeps a man in control of body functions.
In truth there are many men who think and act like caveman pigs when it comes to sex.
Choose one carefully.

If you allow him to have any kind of sexual relationship ouside of the marriage, you are asking him to leave you. No matter how sincere he is in saying it is just a sex thing eventually he will run into someone he connects with and will leave you.

I agree with the most part of all these men.
(31) Male, and I myself would feel you are to OPEN.

It's an invite for a divorce later.

I myself have feeling towards my wife like a 4th grade girl. I go , GOO GOO over her and her ONLY. I adore her, and respect her feelings ( WAY ) to much that it even causes issues between us. She tells me I monitor her feelings to much. And it causes problems.

Please stop this madness, and respect yourself and your relationship.

NO NO NO!
My 2 Cents.

Men are more likely to stay with a woman who wants exclusivity.

Men call women who let them get away with affairs FOOLS and treat you like maids. And to think that they would ask you so you would say NO is also a dumb question.

Each man/woman has his/her moral character and integrity. He/she marries someone who best matches up with his/hers.
