I'm sure that it varies from teacher to teacher and from student to student due to individual work ethics and habits. However, I am currently taking all AP classes and I come home from school every day and do my homework until I go to bed, averaging about 7 to 8 hours of homework per night (depending on how much I procrastinate, of course, or if I have tests, etc. the next day.). Most of my friends end up having about the same amount of homework as I do, and I'm a pretty fast worker compared to other people in my classes. AP classes are tough!! :D

Good luck in your classes -- hope this helps you!! :D

While it all depends on what kind of homework and how much, my best answer would be As much time as it takes. I've spend atleast an hour and a half a night doing homework on a regular basis. Spend as much time as you need to get an A. That should always be your goal. Grades are one of the top things that colleges look at, so time you spend on homework, means less time spent working so you can pay for college.

umm, well, you are the one that has the homework. If you are taking AP classes, you should spend enough time on it to make it good. I am in IB (International Baccaluareate) classes (a step above AP, so I don't know exactly how accurate) and I do about five-six hours a night ( about an hour per class).
I hope this helps, and keep with it!

as long as it takes to get it done! lol but they say that, in college, you should spend 4 hours/week per unit per class. Most AP classes count as 3 units. So 12 hours/week/class.

lol but I didnt do that in high school. :) good luck

I didn't spend anytime on it, and I didn't get credit. It also depends on how well your teacher teaches it. Just do as well as you can in it. Don't worry if you don't get credit, it'll be an easy A to get in college which is something that you'd appreciate if you enter into a difficult field.

Enough to destroy your social life :) its not always the homework that will get you as much as the constant studying.
