I just went to an interview, actually a second interview on tuesday and the guy that interviewed me said that he would call me the next day to tell me if I got the job or not. But he did not call and the following day I called and was told that he didnt make a decision yet. I really want the job and I dont know what to do or what is going on. I spoke to some other girl at the time of the interview that said that was her third interview and it was with the same guy that interviewed me. Thats when I realized there was three interview and that was only my second but I was told to see the generl or store manager like her. Do you know what may be going on. Please positive feedback only thank you.

It is a retail job which I have about 2 years experience. How would I construct a thank you note? and in time??

Write the interviewer a thank you letter. Let him know that you are still interested in the job. Good Luck.

It depends on the company, and the position you're applying for. Some companies have a three person interview policy before making a decision, and it isn't always in a fixed hierarchy: maybe they need an interview by one supervisor and two managers, so it could be that your next interview is with the same person who was the second interviewer for that second girl.
The fact that you've gone through two interviews already sounds promising. Keep your head up.

don't get paranoid. be patient, you just need to wait.
your first interview may be your first and ONLY interview. because it was all they needed from you, because everything went well so they'd probably put ur profile on the choice lists.
in my experience, i had this first test. there was supposed to be three sets of test, but i only got one..i learned i made a high score on the first one so there was no need for the rest. i got the job.
so don't invite that negative aura in you. it will just make things worse. keep it up!
