Well, initially I was upset at the idea of him being killed off because he's such a great character. When I saw the episode, though, I thought it was pretty well done...if anything I was bit underwhelmed at the way they offed him. The end scene made it all better though. ^_^ Besides, it was kind of necessary to kill someone off: otherwise there's too much character security and the audience starts to lose interest (because you automatically know the important people will survive the episode).
Let's be optimistic though...Janet died and eventually came back on SG-1. Beckett's bound to show up in some way, shape, or form in the near future. :D

Stargate Atlantis does not start its new season till April. So, how do you say they killed off Dr.Beckett? Or is this leaked intel?? Either I am confuses or you are.., and I dont know which. =o)

where are you, I have seen this question before, but Have not seen anything or read anything about it. I do know Amanda tapping is moving to it at the end of this season,

Dint know he was killed off, that sux cause he was the most
interesting one on there.
