for example do babies actualy have formulated thoughts and an inner thought language or not? i think that they can only perceive react and just BE. am i correct? they are still learning the way things work. all they can do is BE and to perceive and test things. but other than that they have to learn the way things work before they can have any true knowledge on what it is that they are percieving right?

after all you cant formulate and create any real thought patterns untill you learn about your reality and as you grow older the brain matures enough to make predictions and ideas based on your reality. what do you think??

I would imagine that they have their own inner language of feelings, noises, and pictures. They wouldn't have words to describe what they are thinking, which is probably why people don't remember being a baby, but think about it... You think in feelings, noises and pictures still, just not as often as you think in words. If you see something that you can't describe, you'll remember how it feels, how it sounds and what it looks like. You'll be able to conjure it up in your thoughts without describing it with words.

Yes, I think that you are correct.

But, I believe that humans are born with a rudimentary skill set which is ingrained in their being which allows them to perform some basic functions without needing to learn from observation or interaction with other humans.

For example, an ability to prioritize thought processes and determine the most meaningful ones is probably there at birth.

They do have mostly a clean slate, but they know instinctively how to fill up the slate with meaningful information.
