I just think they are naive enough to believe we somehow are provoking Iran. I do not think the media has done a good job of connecting the dots for Americans. Saddam kept Iran out. Saddam was committing genocide. We took out Saddam. Now we are keeping radical Islam (Iran and Hezbollah) from establishing a strong-hold in Iraq, so Iraq can establish its own military.

I think if we leave now, WWIII will result.

So, you think it's the US obligation to intervene any time one country might invade another, but only if we don't like who the invader is?

Then again, during the initial US invasion, and for quite a while afterward, Iran was controlled by a progressive, Western-learning, secular government who had strong ties with other US allies in the region. It was only after the US invaded both Iraq and Afghanistan (the two countries on either side of Iran) that Iran elected a new hard-line anti-Western government, largely out of fear of what the US was doing.

But let's skip that. Is the US prepared to become the world's police force, and become involved in every miltiary conflict to insure the outcome we want? Or is Iraq the only country we should stay in forever, just because it might be attacked by its neighbor.

Maybe the Dems are really just Iranians made up to look like US politicians! Kinda like the Wayan Bros. did in White Chicks! Since they obviously sympathize with them!

Coragryph, Iran has been anti-American since 1979 when Khomeini took over after the Islamic Revolution!

The Democrats have misinterpreted the message of the American people. Instead of winning, they heard running. The path of least resistance is often taken by today's Democrats and it's a shame. The party once had honor and vision.

You know that for sure. Wow you can predict the future. When will I be able to retire? You should be able to answer that since you seem to be so sure of your predictions. You could provide some reference for one to look at or we consider it your opinion. So it's your opinion so what?
