While eating healthy foods and drinking water are good for your entire body, including your skin, pimples are not caused by what you do or do not eat. Most of it is genetic and hormonal.

If you are just getting a few pimples, wash your face twice a day with an acne cleanser and use a medicine like Clearasil at night. The Proactiv system works pretty well for mild acne. Their cleanser and sulfer mask work the best. Try to keep your hands and hair off your face and wash your pillowcase often. Never sleep with makeup on.

If your acne starts to get worse, I recommend Differin, a prescription cream. Also, your doctor can put you on antibiotics, though you shouldn't stay on them for very long. NEVER go on Accutane, as it has links to depression and suicide.

Stay away from peanuts, I would say .. They do contribute to excessive oil production on the face, causing acnes.. It's just a phase of adolescence. Don't worry too much about them as stress can also cause breakouts. Just remember the keys; don't pop them, clean your face everyday (not too much or it will dry your skin out) , drink a lot of water and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables (vitamin C & E are for great skin).. Good luck!

hold an icecube or cold compress to the spot for a few minutes on and off. this will help decrease the inflammation and inhibit the growth of the bacteria. if pimples are a problem for you and nothing you have tried has worked, try not eating dairy for two weeks. often, acne is linked to the hormones in cheese, milk, yogurt, and other products.

wash your face, but dont over wash it or use harsh soap. get an acne treatment cream at the grocery store like clean and clear, some kind of emergency blemish fixer, and cake it on at night. avoid greasy foods and dont pick at it.

you should start using a daily regiment of washing and using toner and moisturizer. your doctor or a dermatologist can recommend something for you so you dont have to waste all the time and money on trying different crap from the store that doesnt work or is too harsh. at your age is perfect to start so you can have healthy skin for life. its easiest if you start NOW!

make a paste out of baking soda and a few drops of water; apply this to the pimple and place a bandaid over it to help dry it out.

Good luck.

crush an aspirin, mix it w/ water to make a paste and apply it to the spot. aspirin contains salicylic acid to help clear it up and exfoliate. Do not use toothpaste no matter how many people tell you to use it. It contains too many chemicals & is bad for your skin. Also, anything with benzoyle peroxide damages your skin too. Stick to salicylic acid or hydrocy acids.

If you have swelling because of a pimple coming in, put ice on it. It minimizes it. Don't pop zits...they can scar your face. My entire left cheek is scarred because I popped zits when I was like 15.
