Your entitled to believe as you like. As long as you don't want to kill me for my beliefs.

"This campaign for moral development may begin with a few simple precepts. For example, rectitude of conduct, trustworthiness, and honesty are the foundation for stability and progress; altruism should guide all human endeavor, such that sincerity and respect for the rights of others become an integral part of every individual's actions; service to humanity is the true source of happiness, honor and meaning in life.

We also believe the campaign will be successful only to the extent that the force of religion is relied upon in the effort. The doctrine of the separation of church and state should not be used as a shield to block this salutary influence. Specifically, religious communities will have to be drawn in as collaborative partners in this important initiative.

As it proceeds, this campaign will accelerate a process of individual empowerment that will transform the way in which people, regardless of economic class, social standing, or ethnic, racial or religious background, interact with their society."

People are undoubtedly happier when they fill their spiritual need as you have sought to do. My God Jehovah holds his servants accountable for their actions. I'm happy that he requires me to show my love for him through my obedience.

I appreciate what it says in the prophetic biblical book Isaiah at chapter 48 verses 17, 18: "This is what Jehovah has said, your Repurchaser, the Holy One of Israel: “I, Jehovah, am your God, the One teaching you to benefit [yourself], the One causing you to tread in the way in which you should walk. 18 O if only you would actually pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea. "

My wish is that all persons, especially spiritual persons like you would at least make an effort to learn about Jehovah and his promises for our future so they can make an informed decision to accept or reject him. Our eternal happiness depends on our appreciatively acting upon accurate knowledge of God.

My opinion would be that it is always a great thing to bring happiness into your life and soothe the soul - and it seems to work well for you - but remember that what works for one doesn't necessarily work for others and also be happy for that understanding.
My personal happiness begins with - Do what you will and harm none - I try to live by this every day.

I think my philosophy is similar to yours. Very succinctly put- JOY is:
Jesus first (or Jehovah, or Allah)
Others second
Yourself last.
It works!
