I have alot of dreams where I'm either defending a family member or someone I care about and sometimes, I get seriously injured in my dreams and I've died in a couple. What does that mean?

Also, my sister had two seperate dreams where our parents died. In the first one, she didnt say how but she knew that our mom had died in it and in the second one, our dad had died when he got hit by a car. What do those mean?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! And if anyone knows of a link where you can send other dreams to be interpreted, that would be very helpful too!

most dreams are a subconscience fear of things that you don't want to happen. your sister having dreams about your parents dying. she may have a fear of losing them but she doesn't notice it. and some dreams can be interpreted as a sign. like your dream could be interpreted as in your future you may help someone in need. but i wouldn't worry about them. all they are is dreams.

Each dream can be interpreted in different ways following the dreamer's own life and conditions. For example death maybe mean long live or divorce .A dream for king different than the same dream for normal person . Some times the dream concern with the dreamer but other times the dream maybe mean other people or public. To be able to interpret the dream there must be enough details such as the feeling during the dream frightened , crying, ....etc.
sometimes the dream has a link with things happened before time.
The dream must be pure of daily events to be consider as a dream.

Dreams, to me, are complete and utter involuntary thoughts of none other than things you've seen, heard, are currently hearing during the time of sleep, and your imagination.

We all fear the harm of one of our Loved ones, and if you fear it enough, then YOU WILL have a DREAM/Nightmare about it. I have done studies of my own, through trial and error, and I've come to the conclusion that the more uncomfortable I am before/during sleep, the worse my dream/nightmare is. I've grown to sleep comfortably on my back, but when I used to sleep on my back before, I'd have the worst dreams. AND (i promise you this) If I am comfortable enough during sleep, I can actually CONTROL my dream.

I don't think dreams really have an affect on actual reality, I just think that they may give someone an idea, or a new incite on life itself. However, there have been a couple of times where the irony of life has had similarities with past dreams of mine.

I don't think that - well unless you're some sort of a mystical prophet - anything in your dreams/nightmares should honestly worry you.

Had your dreams been some tall tales about monsters or wild fantasies, I probably would not be able to help. Yet, since your dreams is more about what could possibly happen to the people you love, my experiences might be of use. I don't really dream much, which might be the result of my overusing my brain during the day. :-D I certainly don't have any wild dreams. Of the dreams that I remember, my dreams seem to be about alternate versions how things would turn out differently during my awaking hours, or how the events might turn out.

Because of this, I have to say those dreams have served me well. They let me know badly or how well things could have turn out for me, and they gives me preparations for the worst, appreciation of the real outcomes, and hope for the dreams with good turns of events.

I would say similar things could be the same for you and your sister. You guys obviously care for the people in your dream very much. The thought of losing them seem unbearable. Yet, the dreams gave you the mental preparations in case the unthinkable happens. As for your dying part, I would guess it to be your fear of your inability to defend them. Also, the dreams might have pick up pieces of evidences of the events that might happen while your brain weren't able to process during the day. Pay more attention to see if the ones you cared about are engaging in any danger activities or have any outward signs that some things might be troubling them.

Hope this helps.

You need to find real peace concerning your family and your life. I believe a pastor or priest could guide you to a place of real rest. I think your dreams are caused by conflicted relationships or the perception of conflict. You are sometimes so busy dodging boulders you can't just stand up and be strong. I've been there. The boulders-real or imagined aren't likely to just stop. You are most likely under attack. See a minister, that is a good counselor.

Dreams reflect how we feel or what we think about. I've had these dreams as well. I've had several horrible dreams where I've died , been murdered and I saw it all. But, I think they are a result of what we think about or about how we feel.

Dreams can also be effected by what we eat too, as crazy as it sounds. The horrible night mare I had I think was a result of fried chicken and HOT sauce about 1 1/2 before I went to bed. :\

Dreams aren't a huge deal because 90% of them are forgotten by the time you get out of bed. They're just your mind organizing what has been stored in you brain. Sometimes they could be communicating a message, other times it's just a dream.

Dreams are brought on by issues, situation, stress, anger, happiness and joy.
Our dreams reflect those situations, because our subconscious part of the brain feeds our dreams, because we are in a state of suspended thought.
Popular belief is that it is a prelude of something to come, but this idea was fabricated thousands of years ago so people could control others by using their dreams against them.

there are two different types of dreams...one type of dream is a dream that means totally nothing and the other can be used as some sort of vision of either future references to come or the the times that one is going through presently.

in the dreams that your defending someone it means that no matter what you'll be there to help them. and in the dreams that you die means that your either going to go through really difficult and troubling times to come or that's what your facing now and will continue to face for a long while.

in the dreams that your parents die.. it simply means that they'll also go through hard times to come as well or going through right now.

To me it sounds like what your are trying to communicate is not being either taken seriously or no one is listening! Do not give up on what ever it is you need to have someone hear! (Funny as I was typing this it sounded like something thumped my guitar. My big dog heard it too)! And secondly the dream about your sister is probablly about her letting go of your parent s approval or opinions on whatever she has made her mind up upon.
