I'm about to turn 30. Is there a difference then when you were in your 20's? Is it something to look forward to? or does it go downhill from here?

Remember the old saying, "Don't trust anyone who is past 30" Well, I always used to think and still do, "Don't trust anyone who is less than 30." and Let me tell you I am WAAAAY past 30. But just to let you know, the 30's were the best years of my life. I met my husband when I was 36 and we are still going strong 3 decades plus later. Love those 30's. Love those 40's. Love those 50's Love those 60's. Like someone else here said, It all depends on your attitude. Just live life to the fullest. Be gentle, be kind, be generous, be happy, be sad. Be yourself.

I'm 34. I thought that turning 30 would be traumatic but it was all good. You should look forward to your birthday, turning 30 is only what YOU make it, so make it good!! Happy Birthday!

Well, I'm about to turn 29 and I don't feel a day over 18. Seriously, I still feel like I'm in high school. I'm very responsible person and wise, and all. But I just don't feel like I've aged at all. And I don't look it either. I still get carded everywhere I go.

34 ....I don't think I really and truly grew up 'til I reached my thirties.Somedays I can get out and ball with the boys and some days,I like to just sit and contemplate.Life is not at all lost when you reach your 30's..It just marks a new chapter of a beautiful novel that is your life, special, and unique, and meant for the world to read.....except for the naughty parts, you might want to keep those tucked away in your own personal place...or send 'em to me...I'll keep 'em safe!! LOL Hang in there, the ride is just beginning!!

At 28, I was barely established in my career, married less 3 years and living in apartment. At 38, I own my home, been married 13 years, have a 9-year-old daughter and I'm more in love with my wife now than ever before. And I have my own law practice. Life is good.

Look forward to dreading turning forty about four times as much as you dread 30 now.

I think that you really come into your own in your 30's. it's easier to just be, you are secure and comfortable with life, don't care what people think of you, don't have the urge to party as much, you can just enjoy going to bed at ten, all the simple things in life. Just my personal take on it.
