I think they should be given a basic sex education in schools that simply covers the biological facts. Such as an overview of the organs of each gender, how reproduction works, and an overview of STD's and how dangerous they are.
I think all morality issues regarding sex should be left to the parents to discuss with their children. And I think that the schools should not get into too much depth, just the basics. Enough to keep the kids from getting sick or pregnant.

DEFINITELY. There are so many kids that don't know the dangers, but thankfully schools are educating them. I remember I learned it when I was in 5th grade, and in 7th grade, and again as a freshman in high school. I think it was really helpful--they explained things really well, and it wasn't awkward since kids know a lot of these things already (they didnt split the boys and girls up in 7th and 9th grade). Trust me, it was way better than talking to one of my parents. THAT would have been awkward. Cuz even they dont know all the facts sometimes.

Yes, to a certain degree. Separate the girls and boys and discuss what happens during this age and the consequences of sex. Their parents at home may not be talking to them about this, someone has to. The schools are just looking out for the welfare of the students, community, state, nation, and the population of the world.

I believe its the parents place to educate them. Once the kid is asking questions then its time to start educating them instead of having them hear things from all of their friends. If the parent doesn't want to take on that responsibility then they should at least let the schools do it. Either way they should hear it from anyone but their friends.

Yes, so they can learn about the diseases that's out there. They think they're grown & don't realize the consequence of sex, STD's, & pregnancy, so they MUST learn about it.

Yes, because they are eventually going to experiment anyway. At least let them have some intelligence about what they are getting into.
