You absolutely have to have corned beef and cabbage and potatoes. These are all equally as important as the beer, whiskey, etc.. Shamrock confetti is fun to throw at people and you might as well get a tape of Irish drinking music. Also see if there is some parade in your town that everyone can meet at before the party.
