Without a doubt it would be James Hird, a player that can play almost any position and lead a team through the tough times would definetly score highly in anyones books. Even though he is getting on a bit now he still has the ability to out play and out think the opposition.

Ok here goes

I think Spider Everitt is very talented and has great perception skills for an verteran player

I think buddy/ lance Franklin is an exceptional talent- I would compare him with greg engliss from the nrl- he is certainly in the same bracket and he is by far for me the best young player out there.

not being team biases (go the hawks) but some of the things he does just scream freak football talent.

Goal Kicking the likes of mathew lloyd is ahrd to go past just for acuracty and all round goal square awareness.

hell have i answered this q, ok if i had to choose one I will go with lance- certainly watch him for the future

well depends what u mean by "best" well the best full back was matthew scarlett but now he sucks so i'll have to say maybe James Clement and the best midfielder would have to be Chris Judd, he's just a class above the rest. The bets foward will have to be Matthew Lloyd if you are talking about week to week. AND DON'T FORGET THE BEST TEAM IS ESSENDON!

Chris Judd and Adam Goodes. Both are magicians. It's Judd's turn for the Brownlow this year while Sydney will beat the Eagles in another close GF.

I think thats a very hard queston considering the way players play can be so different for example James Clement who one of the best backman dosent get as mouch time with the ball as a midfeilder like Chris Judd plus they play a complete different role so its to hard to call you go to say some thing like best backman so here is mine positon wise

Backman- James Clement
Midfilder- Chris Judd
Ruck- Breadon Lade (for port ot sure if thats his right name)
Forward- Jonathan brown

When he is fit, Jonathan Brown of the Brisbane Lions. But he isn't match fit very often, so the next best would be Chris Judd of the West Coast Eagles.
