How many times does duke have to lose before the likes of ESPN, Billy Packer, Dick Vitale see that they have actually sucked all year?
If Coach "K"ommerical would have spent as much time recruiting his team, and having a productive basketball camp as he did making Chevy commercials and teaching the USA team how to suck, he might have a top 10 team right now.
Of course, being a Heels fan makes it all pretty sweet from my chair. If the USA team losing a gold medal=duke losing a winning season...I will sacrifice the gold medal ceremony EVERY time!
Carolina got some justice in the ACC tournament tonight. Henderson in street clothes sitting in the bleachers cost duke the game tonight. Is taking a cheap shot at Hansbrough as funny to ya now?
If duke gets higher than a 12 seed in the NCAA tournament, it is only due to their past seasons...nothing to do with this lackluster team!
dukies will now begin the "wait until next year" chants..LOL

Hmm.. typical UNC fan. If you weren't too busy hating on duke, you'd see that this wasn't really a bad season at all. With the no.4 hardest schedule in the NCAA and being in the ACC, managing to only lose 9 games is pretty darn good. With out of conference wins against Georgetown, Indiana, Gonzaga(Yes, who beat UNC) and only losing one to Marquette before ACC play is quite impressive with such a young squad. Losing 8 games in ACC play is not what duke usually does, but given the ACC, anything is bound to happen. And dealing with Coach K, dude, your talking about one of the best coaches in NCAA history, and to be invited to coach the Olympic team is a great honor. Just look at the numbers.. 7 out of the last 9 ACC championships, last team to win back-to-back NCAA championships. May I remind you of the NIT bid for UNC in '03? yeah, thanks.

The selection committee won't give any ACC or other big conference team a 12 seed. From a pure math standpoint of poll rankings and RPI, a 12-seed team would be only one of the 45th to 48th best teams, right? For as much as everyone seems to hate Duke and as bad as they've played, they're still one of the top 30 teams in the country.
