My husband and I are both in the military, so we spend a lot of time apart. I am returning from a trip, and I want to do something small, but sweet and romantic for him. He is a guy, so it is always hard to come up with some ideas... Anyone have any ideas?

My husband works offshore and is gone thirty days at a time. The last time he came home, he came home to a candle lit, bath.... with rose petals and lots of bubbles. He is a MANLY MAN, but it melted him like butter. He loved it and has asked when I am going to surprise him with it again. I wasn't even sure if he would like it!

Why is it hard? Because he's not romantic?
So why are you trying to be romantic? Is that what you think he wants, or is it what _you'd_ want.
If he's like a lot of guys, he'd prefer small, sweet and sexy. It doesn't have to be something major, even just wearing a type of underwear you normally don't that he likes shows that you were thinking of him and looking forward to the time you have together.

maybe a sweet little weekend getaway, however sometimes the best getaways are in your own town, like a little bed and breakfast. Sometimes just spending time with each other is enough.
