But if it is a signature being added, or a photo to a forum it is STILL HUGE!!! How can I resize it to a banner size? I got it....but the drag thig and corner stuff didn't work....I had to upload it to photobusket, then resize it there....then save it and reload it to photobucket....but still couldn't get the exact dimensions I wanted which are 468*50.........so if anyone knows where I can go to resize it to that I would VERY much appreciate it!!

You can use any photo editing program such as Photoshop, Corel Photo or some other program. In each one, there will be options to resize pictures.

how bout you create new document (A) in photoshop first and enter the exact size n dpi that you want the image to be.

now open the image file (B) that you have. Press ctrl+a,ctrl+c to copy the whole image.

Now go back to (A) and press ctrl+v to paste the whole image into the document. According to you the image is too big, so you shouldnt be able to see the whole image, maybe just a part of it. Now press 'Ctrl+t' to select "free transform". (Press "ctrl+-" to zoom out of the area that way you'd be able to see the whole transform box) Hold shift down while dragging the bottom right corner towards the document artwork area. Press 'enter' when the picture is just right and Save as jpeg, tiff, gif or whatever. You got the exact size n dpi dat you want.

Hi my friend

The task is very simple. Just open it in photoshop. Select free transform and the short cut for this is ctrl+t, press shift and pull down one edge of the selected object and minimize the size. Now the size will be minimized with accordance to the size you want. Now to convert it to a banner just press ctrl+alt+shift+s which is the short cut used to save for web. Select the format of the logo whether you want it to be in png or jpg or gif. To know more about graphic design just check out the link you can get many ideas on logo design.
