Its been a bad month for Repuglicans. The Iraq Civil War still going bad, Scooter Libby found guilty, Walter Reed mess, Newt Gingrich confession that he is a jerk, Rudy Guiliani's son's confession that his father is a jerk, Dennis Hastert being investigated by FBI, investigation into the fired US attorneys, Ann Coulter embarrassing the GOP....it just keeps getting better. :)

Wish I could gloat with you, but I have to live with their mess. Further, we're still far away from the sort of realignment needed to ensure that Democrats are safe bets for the White House. 2008 will be as close as 04 or 76.

Hey, MoltarRocks - The first 100 hours program passed, with something like 14 hours to spare. For a died-in-the-wool conservative, you sure have a strange way of making your point.

Sure since the joke is on them. Bush and Cheney have already made their fortunes and "CUT & RUN" long ago. Lame duck's are all that is left with the President and Vice President. ABC news reported that Dick Cheney's approval rating is at 21% 1out of 5 people since the Scooter Libby conviction. The Republican party wont be able to recover over this much scrutiny for a decade or more. They will have to have completely different candidates that were never connected to this current administration.

It is rather sad, isn't it? But what I find to be even more tragic is membership in a party that's been a bad joke right from the get-go: the Democrats. You weren't always like that, but starting about eighty years ago...

I have to admit you are right. it has not been a good month. the only positive spin is that the Dems have been pretty crappy too. Pelosi, jet planes. Gore, mystic Global Warming. Hillary with her new found Southern lingo. Ditto Obama. The country has a bunch of idiots right now. Not all of them are republicans.

And Newt just confessed he had an extramarital affair at the same time he as making accusations against Bill Clinton for the Lewinsky affair....

I don't feel sorry at all. Their bad luck is a result of karma. None of the people you listed didn't deserve what happened to them this month. All of them received what they already had coming to them.
