why the new Xmen version, no questions asked!! that was a no brainer! ^_^ i just thought it was really neat and original to bend and twist the storyline in such extreme ways... making it so as almost all the characters turn out to be related in some way, i think, gives the plot an added note of action and suspence that makes it actually more interesting than the original version we're all used to. making two rivals fighting for the love of the same woman really brothers spices the whole thing up!! and making someone everyone is used to seeing as a head good-guy actually evil and fighting against those who used to be his friends and associates gives the story-line such flavor!!
i dunno if these plots seem cheesy or bum some ppl out, but i'm pro!! i love them!! if only all the comics we grew up reading and ended up loving could be editted and buffered in such "original" ways..... *sigh*

Sorry, I just thought the whole idea was a terrible one. Some really bad writing, jacked up character ideas and questionable art work (I know that they were going for a certain style here, but it still didn't hold up for me) pretty much ruined it.
