Considering that the elder Bush was in charge of the CIA at one point during his career, it comes as no surprise that he would state this.

Unless it goes to an appeals court, Libby will remain the fall guy until Bush gives him a presidential pardon.

It's possible he said that. Nope, no one will be tried for "outing" a non-covert agent.

No matter how many times you tell libs the truth about Plame being a non-covert agent, they continue to ask the same dumb questions. Armitage "outed" Plame and will not be prosecuted for doing so. Why? Because she's not protected under the Intelligence Identities Act. Does it matter to the left? Not at all. If no crime was committed, they'll manufacture one.

Does anyone pay attention. She was not a covert agent. She was a pencil pusher. In layman terms a secretary. Everyone in Washington new her. Libby was innocent. The Judge ruled that under no circumstances was the jury to know that she was not an active or actual agent under cover for the CIA. The trial was a sham and evidence like that should be heard. there is a BIG difference between an actual agent and a pencil pusher. One actually works for the Government the other is just a suck up.

Valery Plame "outed" herself. She & her husband posed for the cover of Vogue. That's about as far from covert as it is possible to get.

'member? As soon as it became an issue, bush said he and cheney declassified that document. Therefore, no one "outed" anyone. However, had john edwards done it, one way trip to Leavenworth, Kansas

They can't even get impeached for the federal crimes they've admitted committing, or the federal crimes that have already been confirmed by the Supreme Court.

You think they are going to get into trouble for something that they can easily hide by destroying evidence?
