i'm not sure if you mean the original Origin, or the ongoing Origin book, but here's my take:
the first one (the story about "dog" and james howlett)
out of a 1 to 10 scale, its about a 15. lol. TOP NOTCH in every respect. it teaches you so much about the character, but makes you want more and more and more, and leaves enough questions that the character is still mysterious, the way wolverine should be. and the art was fantastic, a complete homerun.
if you mean the current origin book, i'd give it about a 6.5.
its good, but the artwork isnt the best i've ever seen for a wolverine book, the art looks more like it'd fit the style of the fatastic four or something.... and the story, the idea of wolverine having a son has been touched on before, but i wish they'd get to the point a little more, from month to month its easy to forget the circles wolverine is going around to get things done.
in general, i still follow the wolverine books, but i'm on the fence about the x-men. i've been reading since i was a kid (in the mid to late 80's), and i've seen every x character dead, reborn, evil, good again, in love, out of love, etc.... i've seen characters come and go.... its all a little bit overdone for me.
good Q though. the first origin book, one the best things i've got in my collection.

Wait a minute!
There was a storyline in an X-Men comic? An actual, honest-to-goodness story, with a plot, and all that stuff?
Sorry, I just don't believe it.
