play a game with him, with 2 little doll figures, have the man doll say to the boy, 'this is what i do to you' and then have the child pick up the boy doll, [to get him in the mode of role playing] next you 'be' the boy doll and watch what he does with the man doll, this is better than asking outright, children act life out, in their play, small kids don't know anything about rape--so if he acts it--it occured.
--I would still have him checked by a doctor. keep you child with you, even if you have to quit your job. THIS is the reason i always watched my son like a hawk, i trust no man.

OMG... sorry this question really freaks me out because i have a 4yr old boy and I would hate to even think that something like this could happen.
Try talking to him and asking him on a calm manner. The more freaked out u r about it the more freaked out he will be. Make sure u let him know that u love him no matter what he tells u.
Good luck and I will be praying that nothing happened. If something did happen let me know and I will bbe at the persons door step with a bat in hand ready to kick some but!!!

There is a reason you are asking this. Take them to a doctor ASAP. This not one of those things that there is a single answer for. Every toddler will not have the exact same symptoms. Get thee to a hospital, and if you have reason to suspect something, call the police. Even if it turns out to be nothing, the professionals will be able to help you determine that better than us Yahoos!

If there are no obvious physical injuries. Regression, expressing that something is wrong "down there". Extreme changes in behavior. You should take him to a developmental psychologist right away if you suspect anything. Trust your gut and dont take any chances.
Be careful in how you question him, a rapist will give threats and he may become shut down by fear if he suspects you know. You also dont want it to seem like you put it in his head should you happen to have to take this person to trial. He needs to be questiones carefully and with the guidance of a pro. In most states you can call 211 for referrals.

Look for sexually aware behavior. Rubbing of groins is a big indicator, his own, other peoples, or toys. Be careful of that, sometimes a toddler has just "discovered himself".
I greatly hope that it is not the case.
