Sure they can, as long as it is their policy to do drug testing on all employees. They just can't single you out without cause.

The company can do that if you allow yourself to subjugate to it.
You could quote your constitutional rights. Personally I beleive that that's a total invasion of privacy. You may as well release all your medical records to them too since they can test for all of that. Just because you work in the private sector does not mean they can deny you work if you choose to stand up for your rights. I think it's a battle we all need to start fighting.

IOW, they may be able to fire you, but at the very least, make your stance on the issue if you choose to do it. Current laws need to be changed if that's the case. Freedom is too important.

Check the sources for more information regarding drug testing.

"Yes, we did produce a near-perfect republic. But will they keep it? Or will they, in the enjoyment of plenty, lose the memory of freedom? Material abundance without character is the path of destruction." -- Thomas Jefferson

As per Federal law, in a sense yes, they can. They obviously can't physically force you to do so, but you can be fired if you refuse a drug test, no matter where you are. That is simply their right.
