For about two weeks, I've noticed that I get sick after eating - usually, if I eat anything heavy. The nausea occurs a half hour after eating, and usually lasts for that long. I don't vomit, though, even if I try. I have no prior health problems, and this happens randomly (but I notice it happens more in the evening). Before, I used to be able to eat ANYTHING, and in huge amounts. I'm 17, and my mom is the type who won't take me to the doctor unless I'm practically vomiting blood or unconscious. Any possibilities of what it could be? I'd think food poisoning, but I'm perfectly fine unless I eat (and even if I eat non-junky food, I'm usually ok).

Here is what I remember getting nauseous from:

* A McDonald's Fish Filet thing
* A homemade tortilla-eggplant-homemade tomato sauce "pizza"
* Broccoli & Cauliflower dipped in tomato/pepper/eggplant dip.
* Hot Cheetos
* York Peppermint Patty

Think I better mention this: I am *NOT*, I repeat, NOT pregnant. I'm a virgin. Never went beyond kissing.

are you having pain on the right side under ribcage.does your skin or the whites of your eyes.have a yellowish look because if these things are occuring... it could be gallstones.....

another possibility is h-pylori....it's an infection of stomach and it can give you those symptoms.....

I'm leaning more towards gallbladder tho...

Ask your mom to make you a doctors appointment. By the way you describe what you are eating you could be having gall bladder problems. Yes it can happen at a young age. It could even be an ulcer. It is a wise thing to have it checked out now before it gets any worse. If your mom won't take you find a family member or friend or even make the appointment yourself.
Please don't leave it unattended for to long.

it depends on what you are eating. IF its sugary food you could possibly be diabetes..my advice would be to write down everything you are eating (even if its 3m&ms ) bring it to your school nurse and tell her whats going on..the nurse is free and if she thinks its anything major..then she will call your mom or send you a request to go to the dr. people tend to listen to nurses and drs instead of their kids, Parents usually thinks kids are dramatic, Good Luck

Probably initial stage of cholicystitis or gastritis? Avoid eating fat & meat. You can take fish, Chicken, vegitables etc but no beef or pork. See a doc.

Pls talk to your mom about your concern as well but this really should be evaluated by a dr to be on the safe side.

Either you eating the wrong foods- have an allergy- or something else is wrong. I'd look into it- and stop eating what ever it is!!
