port-port, this is the range of ports you want open, for example if you want to open port 100 you would put in 99-101.
and you put in the ip address of your computer.
this tells the router which computer is aloud to use the ports
and it is possible hughs is blocking ports just call them up and tell them which ones you want open.

You need to know a couple things:

#1 What port(s) do you need to allow in
#2 What type of service do you need to allow in TCP or UDP
#3 Where do you want it to go, that is what address inside your network do you want it to be forwarded to.

The first two depend on the application you are trying to make work, the third is the IP of your computer where you want the traffic to be sent to.

First, get it working with your computer. Does this just HOOK UP and GO? Check the settings needed to make that work.

You might have to use the CLONE MAC ADDRESS feature on your router to make it log into your Hughes Satellite. Otherwise, duplicate your PC's settings.

Good luck and Happy Computing!
