I thought they were good.
I thought they were supposed to win again.
Or will it be ANOTHER 88 years before they win again?

Maybe if they fired ozzie and replaced him with Dusty they would be better.

The whiny sux. that's brilliant. First off you started you question with a retarded unoriginal shot at the sox. Second, they were good, 3rd in the best division in baseball isn't bad. Third, who said they were gonna win again? And how did the Tigers do? They got beat in the series by the worst team in the playoffs. Fourth, all the things you said everybody knows. Yeah, they didn't make the playoffs, and it was 88 years since their last, congrats on knowing that.
Why didnt the Tigers win the series last year?
I thought they were good.
I thought their pitching was the best in the leauge
I thought they may not choke and lose the division, but they did.

Actually it was 86 years (1918-2004). Also, Boston is in the AL East not the AL Central.

Anyway, doesn't that happen a lot in baseball? A team winning it all and then not making the playoffs sometimes even the next year? (cough Florida cough).
It's tough when 4 teams out of 14 go into the playoffs. Congrats to Detroit for playing well in '06.

I'd like to see what the Sox have got in '07, considering they have the $50 million pitcher among other things.

No one can predict whether a team will lose for 88 years. If a White Sox fan were asked, he would only predict that it would be the Cubs, and vice versa with a Cub fan. They would not understand why for you, a Tigers fan whose team went to the World Series a few months ago, the White Sox are your white whale. The Indians and Twins have probably done more to warrant your attention in the offseason among Central division teams. And if they aren't enough for you, the Yankees are always worthy of envy and hate. Hell, they thrive on it.

tiger fan sounds just mad. But look in any sport that has a cap the winners have a hard time repeating as champs. And as of Dusty as the manager we saw what he did for the Giants he was run out of town. And yes the cubs did suck but I saw him leave pitcher in way to long and then bring in a guy that had not pitched well or against that player or type of player. Lets see how well the Cards do this year.

Hey they should have hired Dusty. Ozzie is such a fool. I thought it was so funny when after all the *** licking that ESPN and everyone else gave the white sox they couldn't even make the playoffs :)

It's so refreshing to see fans from the Tigers and White Sox throw hand grenades at one another for a change. Usually everyone is blaming the Yankees and Red Sox fans for doing it all of the time. It' nice to sit in the stands and watch the fun!!

1) A.J. Pierzynski - just shut the f$%& up and play.
2) Second rate now that property values just went up on the north side again
3) A.J Pierzynski - another play just happened while you were complaining about a call.
4) Out coached
5) the closer is named Jinx - or Jenks

But the biggest reason.... A.J Pierzynski deserves to lose.

Not that I am also an Angels fan who may still be bitter about anything.

I too believe that the departure of the hot headed one would be the best place to start!!Although I also believe that it will be awhile before their return to what the southsiders call greatness.... Maybe not 88 years but it will be awhile!!!

They were good. Your Tigers were just better. I really like watching both teams, although Guillen really gets on my nerves. The AL Central's an interesting division.
