I've had 3 people tell me, recently, that it's disgusting. They said that I should always change clothes first, or if I MUST sit on my bed at the end of the day with my clothes on, I should at LEAST lay a towel down and sit on THAT. What's the big deal? They seemed to think it was rather obvious...

Perhaps these people are a little or alot germaphonic. The same type that change towels every day as well.

There is a rule of thumb that Catholics said that you eat 12lbs of dirt before you die. That might count the skin contact with dust mites and other stuff you get on or in you. If you are too clean then your body wont be able to fight off things as well. So it's kind of important to be a little dirty.

i totally agree with them it is totally disgusting to do so...i hate when people sit in my bed with dirty clothes/ the big deal is that all the germs that attached to you all day attach to your bed and sometimes you put your face there or u are with shorts or pannies and u get those germs its jsut plain disgusting but hey some people like me are super clean and want it that way but others dont do what u best want

thats weird...
maybe its because if you sit on the ground outside or something the dirt/bacteria can go on your bed. and you sleep on it so ya. i dont know its just a guess.
but i never change before i sit on a bed. im not paranoid like those 3 people..

I do it often.... why would I change if I am only sitting/laying on it for a short amount of time and then have to go somewhere???? Don't worry about it, it's no biggie in my opinion.

LOL that's dumb. Unless you were running through the sewers, rolling in mud, flinging poo with a monkey, or fixing a car you're not really dirty. I sit on my bed all the time. If I was covered in crap I obviously would not, but if you're not dirty there's nothing wrong with it.

Sure why not, my dogs sleep on the bed when I,m not in it, so before I go to bed I just shake it off

Sounds like an OCD cluster...if there is such a thing. Sometimes I don't even bother getting changed.

maybe expensive dry cleaning spreads I might not sit on but I buy cheap stuff so I'll sleep in my clothes if I want to.

I do. It's not like I've been out workin' in the yard all day... Now that'd be a different story!
